Psalm 80:1-7, 17-19; 2 Samuel 7:23-29; John 3:31-36
By Greg Alm

Psalm 80:1-7, 17-19
Restore us, Oh Lord, our God, we pray.  We desperately yearn for our restoration through Jesus Christ, your Son.  Your light shines brighter, and brighter, each day.  Our desire is to live with you forever.  How long will our sinfulness separate us — your chosen people — from your Love?  Forgive us, that we can be restored to your Holiness.  He who sits on the throne, Jesus Christ, is asked to return to Earth to save us, your chosen people.  We cry out for your love, and look forward to your face shining upon us.  Lean on your own Son, Jesus Christ, and we shall see you again!  Amen.

2 Samuel 7:23-29
The House of the Lord, our God, shall endure forever. Your people earnestly seek what you, Oh Lord, our God, have promised.  We shall never leave you.  The nation of Israel is your chosen nation of people who are yours.  Build your house, and your people shall delight in your glory!  Amen.

John 3:31-36
Jesus Christ is the Earthly form of our spiritual Father God, in Heaven.  Just as God’s spirit is all around Heaven, Jesus’ spirit is all around Earth.  All of us have a choice: Believe in Jesus Christ, and have eternal life, or don’t accept Jesus Christ as Lord & Savior, and be punished by God’s wrath.  People who believe in Jesus Christ, testify to the truthfulness of God, and His love for us.  Some will not believe, even though God’s love, creation, Word — everything — is all around us.  In any case, God’s love endures, and is all encompassing.  The Holy Trinity involves: God, the Father; Jesus Christ, the Son; and the Holy Spirit, the Messenger, between God, and Jesus Christ.  God in Three persons, blessed Trinity!  Everything that God is, has been passed to His Son, Jesus Christ, for our willful salvation.  God’s love for us is overwhelming.  If only, if only . . . people would reach out and accept that love.  God’s love is also demonstrated in that he doesn’t force anyone to accept His love, or reciprocate it, by loving God back.  It is our own, freewill, choice.  God, we praise you for giving us the freedom to choose to love you.  There is absolutely NO other choice worth making! Right? Amen.
