Der
Pastor Der grew up in a Hmong American shaman family and came to Christian faith as a young adult. As part of this story, Der has a heart for how the Gospel informs cultural identity, intercultural relations, and racial ethics – all under the umbrella of Christian worship and discipleship. Der completed his Master of Arts Theology in Biblical Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary and is currently pursuing post-graduate work towards a Th.M. in Theology & Ethics at Luther Theological Seminary. Der is married to Alice and they have two children: Penelope and Judah. In their free time, they enjoy discovering new parks and grabbing a bite in Stillwater and walking the Lift Bridge.
