Lucia Fest will be held Saturday, December 8th. Once again, there will be three seatings: 8:15 am, 9:30 am, and 10:45. The gift shop will be open Saturday 7:30 – 1:00, and Sunday 8:30 – 2:00.

Ticket order forms will be available in the atrium to members and attendees of Bethlehem Covenant beginning Sunday, October 22.  This is an extremely popular event so each household may purchase up to 9 tickets. The public may contact the office at 612.721.5768 on or after November 5 to purchase tickets. New for 2018:  Those calling in for tickets or on a waiting list may only purchase 4 tickets. There are upwards of 100 people on the waiting list and this event should be an outreach event to everyone. Tickets will be distributed on Sunday, November 18 and 25th. Anyone volunteering in the program need not buy a ticket. Please keep your ticket until you are seated.

Inviting all Lucia Singers for one practice on Tuesday, December 4th. New attendees to Bethlehem are encouraged to join in our Lucia Singers Choir. You are requested to be available all morning on Saturday, as we sing at all three seatings. It is lots of fun, and you do not need to know any Swedish to sing. Any questions, call Elissa Cedarleaf-Dahl at 612.377.5955.

Tomtar (K—3rd grade) and

Dancers (4th—6th grade)

Rehearsals begin Sunday, November 11 and continue the next three Sundays during the first service at 8:45 am. Children will leave the sanctuary after the children’s sermon. Dancers practice in Fellowship Hall and Tomtar practice in the Community Room.

Older Treasures Table

Again this year we will be selling nicer used gift items and collectibles. Please bring these items to the church office or to the Community Room on Friday morning, December 7th by 9:00 am. Contact the office with questions at 612.721.5768.

Baked Goods

In addition to the over 200 dozen cookies needed for the 3 seatings, baked goods are also sold in the gift shop. Contributions are welcome!

Gift Room Consignment

In years past, consigned items (e.g. unique decorations, wearable art, published works) have been favorites for Christmas shoppers looking for gifts that are useful or out of the ordinary. If you would like to consign your handiwork or other handcrafted items, etc., to sell on Lucia morning, Contact Beth Dahl (612.940.3556) for your unique ID number and to obtain a consignment submission form. Note: as part of the fundraising efforts, 20% of each consigned ticketed item sold will go to ministries supported by Bethlehem Covenant Women. Each consignee will receive 80% of all their ticketed sales. All consignments due by Friday, December 7th, 9:00 am, Community Room.
