Children are an important part of the Bethlehem family!
Ages: birth – 2 (some kids may turn 3 throughout the year)
Infants and toddlers are lovingly cared for in our nursery located on the main level near the sanctuary. Care is available during Sunday school and worship.

Children meet for a time of singing, then split into age level classes. Caring teachers share the Tru curriculum teaching Bible stories with age-appropriate activities. Tru is a curriculum that helps to engage parents in the spiritual nurturing of their children. Each week the kids bring home a parent sheet called “Homefront”. Homefront helps to parents prepare their children for the upcoming lesson.
Children in Worship
Activity bags are available for children to use during the worship service and are located in the hallway just outside the sanctuary.

Children are invited to Children’s Church following the children’s message during worship. The children are learning the Bible narrative through chronological Bible stories and related activities.

Vacation Bible School Ages: 3 years – 5th grade
For one week during the summer, children gather for a fun, theme-based program of learning about God. Bible lessons, music, crafts, snacks, and games all focus on the theme and how we can grow to be God’s children.
Each year during Advent, children prepare a special staging of the Christmas story, which is presented on the Sunday before Christmas during worship. The costumed children represent the various characters in scenes as the Scripture story is read.
