Grade 6 - 12

Grades 6 - 12

Events and programs for youth grades 6-12 are run by Bethlehem’s Director of Youth Ministry, Lars Markson. Lars has been at Bethlehem since 2017 and is passionate about helping all kids feel welcome and engaged. The heart of Lars’ ministry comes from Acts 2:42:
“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.”
If you’d like to learn more about any of the youth programs, please contact Lars – he would love to talk with you!

Middle school youth group (grades 6-8) meets on Wednesdays at 6:00

Come for a time of hanging out with students your age, playing games, and taking time out of your week to focus on God’s plan for you and your life.

Confirmation is a two-year program that students take from 7th & 8th grade. Confirmation focuses on teaching students about the history of the church and Bible, as well as equipping our youth with tools to study the Bible and connect with God. Students will also be paired with a mentor who prays for them regularly. Our desire is to build lifelong faith into our students!

Confirmation meets on Sundays following the service.

Events & Activities

Outside of youth group and confirmation, students gather about once a month for fun activities like movie nights, pool parties, outreach opportunities, and game nights.

Students are also invited to an annual summer trip that rotates every year: Canoe trips in the Boundary waters through Adventurous Christians, serving on a missions trip, and attending Conferences with other Covenant Churches.

We also encourage students to attend summer camps and retreats at Covenant Pines Bible Camp.
