Operation: Christmas Child

Bethlehem Covenant Church and Bethlehem Child Care Center are joining together this month to participate in Operation Christmas Child, a massive international ministry to share Christmas gifts with some of the world’s most underprivileged children. Its a great way for us to share God’s love with needy children. Simply decide if you want to make a box for a boy or girl, and choose an age range (2-4, 5-9, 10-14),  fill a shoebox with toys and gifts for that child, print off a label for the box, then drop off the shoebox at the church by November 23rd. This is a great activity for children and parents to do together, a reminder that giving is what makes Christmas special. Check out the Operation Christmas Child website for more info on how to pack a shoebox and suggestions for what kind of gifts to put inside. We’ll collect shoeboxes in the large gift box in the narthex until Sunday, November 23rd.
