Over the past year our denomination has recommitted its efforts to help make clean water more accessible across the world. You can read last year’s resolution on clean water here. Urban runoff is one of the main polluters of American water, but a well designed rain garden can provide natural filtering that will help keep rivers and lakes clean. As part of Bethlehem’s commitment to creation care, loving our neighbor, and living sustainably; we are excited to host an opportunity to learn about rain gardens and how your own yard can help contribute to the cleanliness of our water.
On May 20th at 7pm, Linda Sporh will be on hand to present a workshop on putting a rain garden in your own yard. The event is open to all and there is no cost to attend. Invite your friends and neighbors to see how you can help!
